Why Parkers? Why Dunbar?
A bit about me..... my connection to Scotland is through my dad who's from Edinburgh. In the 80s my grandparents bought a flat right on the beach in North Berwick. As a family (I'm one of 4 kids) we came up to holiday all the time and from a young age I fell in love with NB. It was my happy place.

I moved up here 3 years ago and haven't been happier. Initially I moved to Dunbar and soon saw how much Dunbar was developing and that there was room for a café serving delicious coffee and food.

Parkers as a name came to me as I didn't want something too twee and Parker is a big part of my life and I think is a beautiful dog (I know I'm biased!). I could envisage people saying 'lets go to Parkers' and so it was born!

I love my food and am always looking for cafes that offers a variety of healthy options and more of a brunch menu.

I felt Dunbar had a gap in the market where people could go to find yummy, healthier food options. When I knew I could make my dream become a reality I grabbed it with both hands and went for it....
